one of my non-automotive passions.
They finally opened an awesome rock gym here in Chicago, and I get to climb again (after nearly a 2 year break) this weekend! Sure it cost me more than a set of RE-71Rs for a 1 year membership, but ya gotta make sacrifices when you have multiple expensive hobbies. :P

And next month they have a grand opening party where I’ll get to do some climbing with this guy, Chris Sharma, who is one of the best in the world!

I’ve climbed with Chris before, I used to see him all the time in Little cottonwood canyon, good guy.

I love rock climbing. And Chris came for the grand opening of one of my local gyms. He’s ridiculous!

Nice! One of my buddies back in AZ who is really into climbing climbs at the same gym as Sierra Blair-Coyle. Now she’s someone I wouldn’t mind having as a climbing partner. Haha

Knew a guy in Colorado Springs while I was climbing in my youth. Used to do this kinda thing like hang from rounded nubbins off an overhang. Kept going back to a doctor after a climb and they would have to glue his tendons back onto his finger bones because his use would pull them off. The glue always held, tho, the natural attachments, not so much.
I love climbing walls/places tho. Such straight up good fun. Not to mention teaching basic body dynamics and awareness.
